As the neighborhood keeps growing, with more and more independent and creative businesses adding to Ballard’s revitalization, the Matador - with its big see-and-be-seen windows open along Ballard Ave NW - remains an anchor, offering consistently great Mexican-inspired food, happy hour cocktails, and service.

The Mezcaleria is sophisticated yet effortlessly welcoming. Candlelight and handmade woodwork create a warm, intimate atmosphere, complete with a private bar and flexible seating. For added exclusivity, a smaller VIP room is also available. It comfortably hosts up to 50 guests, plus two 46" Smart TVs for your use.
The Ballroom, perched above The Ballard Matador, features soaring 15-foot ceilings and an open floor plan. Candles and handcrafted lanterns add warmth to this spacious, versatile room, which can accommodate 80 seated or 100 cocktail-style guests. A private bar, 14' projector, and sound system make it perfect for any event!
